Generate video
Choose a video model, length and resolution, use start and end frames, and keep costs down with Seedance 2.5 Draft mode.
Generate video at Video. Seedance 2.5 is the lead model, with native audio, 480p to 1080p and lengths from 4 to 30 seconds. You pick model, length and resolution, the cost shows before you run, and the video renders in the background.
Which video models are available?
- Seedance 2.5: text, image or reference to video, with native audio.
- Kling 3.0, including a 4K option.
- MiniMax H3 and H3 MAX.
- Veo 3.1.
- Happy Horse.
- Seedance Faces: see below.
What does Seedance 2.5 cost?
Seedance 2.5 is priced per second of video:
- 480p: 1.76 credits per second.
- 720p: 3.78 credits per second.
- 1080p: 9.36 credits per second.
So a 4 second clip at 480p is about 8 credits. Other models have their own prices, always shown on the generate button.
How does Draft mode work?
Draft mode lets you test an idea cheaply before paying for full quality:
- Generate a draft at 480p.
- If you like it, finalize it to 1080p. The final keeps the same prompt and references.
- Finalize within about 7 days of creating the draft.
Start and end frames
From the workbench you can set a start frame and an optional end frame. The video begins on your image and, if you add an end frame, moves toward it. Use a product photo as the start frame to keep your real product in the shot.
Real faces with Seedance Faces
Seedance Faces allows a real human face as the start frame. It needs a paid plan, runs at 480p or 720p, lasts 4 to 15 seconds, and you must confirm you have the person's consent for their likeness. See the Content Policy.
How long does it take?
Usually 1 to 5 minutes. Video runs in the background, so you can leave the page.
